If I had to choose three words to describe Hannah and Scott, it would be: intense, passionate, and fun.
When I first sat down with Hannah and Scott over coffee so many months ago, we began chatting excitedly about their upcoming Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding and the possibility of doing a winter engagement session. If you missed their crazy cold engagement session, you can catch up here!
These two love birds met through Match.com and had their first date back in January of 2016 at the Great Northern Tavern. They quickly realized they had so much in common. Nine months later, Scott's parents traveled to Colorado for a visit. During their time here, Hannah and Scott planned a casual dinner and Broncos game night for their parents to meet. During halftime, their parents ventured out of the house to enjoy the garden and oogle over her dad's sports car... Scott baited her into a small but very personal conversation. She had no idea what was coming and before she knew it, Scott was down on one knee asking her to be his wife. It was intimate and perfect.
Her favorite thing about him: "His cares for his family and mine. He adores his family and in return loves mine to pieces. Plus we have so much fun together weather we are out and about or just at home!"
His favorite thing about her: "I've never met someone who cares about other people like she does, someone I trust as much as I do her and I love the fact that we share a lot of common interests."
Hannah and Scott enjoy hiking and camping, four-wheeling, and hanging with friends to watch Ohio State football and the Broncos, and have a little spot in their hearts for Nascar! When asked for their favorite wedding memory, they both say "Just being with all our friends and family. We loved being able to talk to each other from around the wall but not being able to see each other."
Their wedding day was a beautiful, sunny summer August day. As the puffy white clouds drifted overhead, Hannah prepared to walk down the aisle and Scott spent the morning with his best guys. The tables were set, special notes written to each other on the bottom of their shoes were read, and flowers were delivered. They shared a few minutes together during a "No Look" first look, holding hands and talking with anticipation of their upcoming ceremony.
Hannah was accompanied down the aisle by her dad and brother, and Scott's eyes were filled with tears as his bride smiled to him. His dad officiated the light-hearted, but meaningful, ceremony. Soon, they shared an epic First Kiss and danced back down the aisle as newlyweds.
At the end of the night, we stole a few moments outside for nighttime portraits under the amazing stars. My heart is so full from getting to know these two and being a small part of their wedding day.
Congratulations, you two! I wish you the happiest of futures together!
