When Kari connected with me to photograph their destination elopement near Red Feather Lakes, I instantly was drawn to her and Kenny's fun-loving attitudes and desire for an intimate wedding high in the mountains. Oh, and the addition of having horses for their portraits didn't hurt either!
Kari and Kenny live in New Mexico, but wanted to share their vows and first married kiss in the mountains of Colorado. They chose Sundance Trail Guest Ranch as the backdrop for their wedding. What an amazing venue! These two met online and truly live for laughter. When I arrived to the Ranch, they were both busy preparing for their ceremony inside the beautiful lodge. Kenny was all smiles as he donned his western style suit and hat. Kari looked radiant in her satin dress and cowgirl boots.
As Kari walked down the trail to their ceremony site, Kenny watched her with love in his eyes and as they shared their first married kiss, the two embraced in a forever-kind-of-love.
