Wayyyyyy back in 2013 when I was a crazy, brazen photography newbie, I met Amanda and Adam and their family for a free portfolio building session in Loveland. They were super patient, but their little one (a year old at the time) wasn't having it! Little Grace was all tears and screams, and I did my best to give them a few good photos from the session.
Fast forward a few years. Amanda reached out to me to book an epic mountain fall family session to celebrate their recent engagement! Of course, I was thrilled to hear from them and quickly chose a date, crossing fingers for good weather and some fall color!
As the session got closer, cold weather, rain, and wind did its best to welcome in Old Man Winter and blow the remaining leaves into the next time zone. Brian and I had a date day in Estes and RMNP for elk bugling and we did some scouting around the park for good spots for Amanda and Adam. I'm pretty sure we found the last remaining aspen tree with color in the park!
We had beautiful weather and it was so nice seeing this growing family again! Little Grace is now 5 and such a little sweetheart! She was all smiles and couldn't resist tickling her big brother.
These two have been together for a long time, but just this summer Adam made it official by proposing to Amanda while at Disney World in front of the castle. Without further ado, here are a few of my favorites from their Rocky Mountain National Park family engagement session.
