When Shelby and Dawson contacted me to chat about their fall wedding plans, I may have squealed a little. I'm thrilled to be photographing their upcoming big day in the middle of a corn field on the family farm!
I met up with these two last week near Kersey for engagement photos. Their session almost didn't happen. With the weather forecast the day before of partly cloudy and mid 50s, we were all ready to go. Then it began sleeting and raining at home as their session afternoon neared. We chatted and made a last-minute call to go for it! Kersey is at least 20 miles east of where I live and in Colorado, weather is typically VERY localized. Sure enough, as I neared the farm there was blue sky in view and the storm was moving out! We enjoyed the chilly afternoon together and finished up as the sun dipped behind the clouds.
Shelby and Dawson brought their fur baby, Pearl, along and I'm so glad they did! Pearl was a sweetheart and definitely stole the show. She loved running as her humans cuddled, laughed, and enjoyed time together. Dawson even brought a tractor he built as a teenager out to include in the photos, how fun!
I'm thrilled to share my favorites from their session!
