When you know, you know. Finding your forever partner is a huge life-changing journey, one that Courtney and Seth quickly knew they had found. These two met through Courtney's brother-in-law, who "referred" them. One Facebook chat message was all it took, and they were married just a couple weeks ago in beautiful Estes Park at Della Terra Mountain Chateau.
Courtney and Seth share a love of the outdoors and immediately became best friends. Seth fell in love with Courtney's eyes and Courtney adores Seth's constant positive attitude. When it came time to ask Courtney to marry him, Seth kept it quiet and intimate. Courtney arrived to his apartment where she found a set of string lights leading to Seth where he waited, ring in hand. Another set of string lights lead to her favorite things: french fries, pizza, and donuts!
While living in Nebraska, they knew they wanted to be married back home in Colorado and wanted to share the beauty of the mountains with their friends and family. Della Terra was the perfect option, with it's close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park, hillside vistas, and picturesque grounds. Their wedding day arrived with blue skies and immense sunshine. A few lazy clouds floated overhead as Courtney was surrounded by her closest family to prepare for the day. A few tears were shared as they all realized the momentous weight of what lie ahead. Seth was excited and all grins of anticipation as he waited to see his bride.
While they didn't have a traditional wedding party of attendants, Courtney and Seth instead had their 15 nieces and nephews participate as "flower kids". Family is a huge part of their lives and it was clear that day how close they are. Courtney's four sisters embraced her and shared belly laughs throughout the day.
Their favorite memory from their wedding was seeing their family and each other during the start of the ceremony. "It was awesome to see the people we grew up with come all the way out to Estes to support and celebrate us!"
Their future is bright and their purpose as a couple together is to continue living for Christ no matter what. "Living out His purpose for our lives (to point others to Him) is the greatest commission we will ever receive and we pray that we never lose sight of this within our marriage." When asked for their biggest advice for couple's who are planning their own weddings, they said "Our advice would be to not let the stress of planning get between you and your spouse. Pick and choose your battles wisely when trying to make decisions and always remember this is wedding is for the both of you meaning you can and should share the load."
I'm HONORED to have been a small part of their special day. Courtney and Seth, I pray for blessings in your lives and that you continue living out Christ's love in each endeavor you take. And without further ado, here are a few of my favorite frames from their wedding!
