When I met Paige and David earlier this year, we had the best time chatting about their wedding plans for July of this year. They live in Illinois and ADORE Colorado, so making the decision to have a Colorado mountain wedding was a no-brainer. These two met while working at a local grocery store in North Aurora (Illinois) and shared their first date ten years ago on New Year's Eve.
Almost 8 years later, David decided to propose to Paige and had planned on asking her to be his wife at Hanging Lake during a visit to Colorado, but it didn't work out as hoped. Instead, he planned a Blackhawks hockey game getaway a couple months later including a day out for Cornfest in Paige's hometown. He finally proposed to her afterwards, sitting on the couch with Paige in yoga pants. It was perfect.
Their wedding day was a perfect mix of family and little personal elements. The details on Paige's dress were stunning, while David was dapper in a gray suit. They chose Christies of Genesee for their wedding backdrop for its close proximity to the mountains and beautiful vistas. I'm so thrilled to have been a small part of this special day!
These two love watching movies together and plan to move to Colorado in the near future. Without further ado, here are a few of my favorite frames from their Colorado mountain wedding. CONGRATS, you two!!
