The mantra goes something like this: I can't believe we are closing out yet another year! Where did this year go?! How is it already the end of the year?

It might sound cliche, but honest-to-goodness I'm humbled by all the love and support this year saw. From clients and friends to family and amazing new places, 2018 did not disappoint. We saw a lot of growth in my photography business, Brian's teaching career, our marriage, and our future goals. I met a ton of new couples who are busy planning 2019 weddings and I can't wait to ring in the New Year! Watch out 2019, I'm coming for ya!

As is tradition, I enjoy putting together my annual "Year in Review" blog feature to show off a little of the behind-the-scenes and outtakes from the previous season of weddings. Between rolling around on the ground for a better angle, slogging through snow or mud or rivers or thistle-endowed fields, and fighting hurricane force winds on mountaintops, there's never a dull moment.

I want to also take a moment to THANK my support team: Christina and Brian. Truly, you both are a huge reason this year was such a success. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all your trust, help, and laughs! Oh, and Christina - your dance moves are just too good. Brian - your many faces during light testing are always a joy.

And lastly, to all my amazing clients and couples: THANK YOU! It's because of you I'm living my dream of photographing beautiful moments to last a lifetime and generations to come.
