When Allison and Billy said they wanted engagement photos in the Silverthorne area near Breckenridge, of course I squealed a bit. I adore this area! With epic mountain views of the Ten Mile range, Dillon Reservoir, and beautiful aspen groves, it's a perfect Colorado location for photos. These two just booked with me for their upcoming September wedding at the beautiful Arrowhead Golf Course, and needed photos for their save-the-date cards ASAP. We were blessed with a chilly, cloudy afternoon for photos, just before a winter storm blew in that night. What a fun adventure!
Allison and Billy met at Texas Tech, and recently moved to Colorado on a whim. Billy popped the question to Allison at Union Station this past December, and let me just say - these two are ADORABLE together. We met near Frisco at a beautiful aspen grove, and were surprised when the snow was much deeper than I'd expected. I almost turned back to nix shooting at my favorite spot in the trees, as the snow was up to my mid-thigh! Fortunately, my husband Brian was along and trudged ahead to make a trail for us. While it was 25 degrees, the wind chill was somewhere south of 15 degrees, but Allison and Billy didn't complain once. Constant giggles, funny faces, and lots of passion made for a great session with these two. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement photos!
