Kaylene & Will's Summer Wedding at Arrowhead Golf Club - Colorado Mountain Wedding

Kaylene and Will met in May of 2014 while Will was working for Spotzer Media in Denver. During a usual day at the office, Will and his friend Brandon grabbed their morning coffee and took seats at their desks. Shortly after, a beautiful woman walked into the office asking if this was Spotzer Media. Will's ears immediately perked up and as he peered over his computer at her voice, he was instantly mesmorized by Kaylene.

In Will's words: "If you've ever seen Finding Nemo, you know the sounds that the seagulls make when Nemo and Dori were flopping their way down the dock - "Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine!" Well, as I was watching Brandon and this gorgeous girl talk, all that was running through my head was exactly that: "Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine!" It was like I was a teenage boy again seeing my Hollywood crush. Without thinking, I stood up and walked towards the front of the room to introduce myself. I didn't anticipate that my ability to speak in complete, understandable sentences would suddenly disappear. I reached the front of the room with my hand extended out to shake hers and said, "Hi, I'm Spotzer, welcome to Will" (facepalm). I felt like it was over before it ever had a chance to begin!"

When Will's manager introduced Kaylene to everyone at the office and asked Will if he'd train her, of course he hastily replied "Absolutely!" mixed with sheer terror and excitement. And thus began the story of Kaylene and Will.

They shared a first date picnic at Horsetooth Reservoir shortly after. It was solid friendship from the start, and they immediately enjoyed being themselves around one another. The two of them love to attend the annual Oktoberfest in Breckenridge with friends. Each year, they would stand on the same rock in the middle of the river and have their picture taken. Then in September of 2018, while standing on "our rock", much to Kaylene's surprise, Will got down on one knee in front of everyone and asked her to marry him... and of course, she said, "YES!"

They chose a late summer wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course to celebrate with their friends and family. Their wedding day arrived sunny and warm. They were both all grins as they shared their first look together with the Colorado flatirons in the background. And when Kaylene walked down the aisle, Will's eyes were locked on her fiercely.

After family pictures, we headed out on a golf cart for portraits on the course. In true Colorado fashion, a freak wind storm came up and spitted rain for a few minutes. We headed to take cover under a few large trees near the back of the course, and no sooner had we stopped under the tree when we heard a loud CRACK. I looked back, thinking a tree branch had hit the golf cart, and low and behold it was a golf ball! Phew! Hearts racing, we drove on to a safer location to wait out the rain drops. Soon after, the clouds parted and gave us the most GORGEOUS orange sunset!

They shared a PERFECT first dance and excited the night surrounded by glow sticks and love. Congrats, you two. Seriously it was such an honor to celebrate with you. Many blessings as you enjoy marriage!
